I'm currently getting my Master's in Early Childhood Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, and moved to Morningside Heights last year to chase this dream! During the school year, I work full-time as a third grade assistant teacher at an amazing private school in the Bronx. I absolutely love it! Right now, I'm looking for part-time babysitting opportunities, whether it's for the summer or something more long-term during evenings, weekends, or daytime hours. I'm flexible and happy to work out a schedule that fits your needs. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, love being outside, helping out around the house, and just spending time with kids. We are so thankful for Virginia. She has been our go to babysitter since our son was an infant (he is 10 now). We have always trusted her to keep our son safe and cared for. She does a wonderful job listening to our instructions and implementing our routines and procedures. She is fair and patient. On top of it all, she engages our son in fun and creative activities. She makes sure our son cleans up after himself, too. We recommend her without reservation.
