I am currently working towards my Single Pitch Instructor certification -a climbing certification which would allow me to guide rock climbing trips outdoors. I will need to travel for this and am looking for more flexible work options to support me through this year. I am unable to do a committed nanny position at this time, but would be interested in temporary care such as a backup should your full time nanny need time off, or single day or evening babysitting. I have over 10 years of experience working with children as a nanny, a preschool teacher, life skills tutor, and recreation specialist. In these positions I have worked with ages ranging from infants to adolescents. In my free time I like to read, cook, garden, hike, rock climb, and play with my two big dogs.

We have been so lucky to find Ginny! She has been with us for a little over three months and makes me feel so at ease as a new mom of two given her experience nannying for multiple kids of similar ages as well as her preschool experience (and her personality in general!). She brings incredible knowledge to her work given her former preschool experience and treats the job as a professional with a constant desire to learn and expand her knowledge about early child development. She is willing (and eager!) to read books that I am reading so that we're on the same page. She has helped me to understand how to manage certain situations as well, and I've learned so many fun activities from her to do with my toddler. In addition to being an awesome and loving role model/nanny to our kids, she helps with cooking, laundry and school drop off/pick-up. I trust her completely, and she is an excellent communicator which allows us to have a wonderful working relationship (I work from home).
