About Virginia

Having worked with kids for over seven years, I love to nurture children's growth and development by helping them explore their interests and learn new skills. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children, ranging from infants to preteens. I have worked for families with three children under 10 and run summer camp programming for up to 20 7-16-year-olds, so I have learned how to manage all kinds of situations and meet kids on their level. I prioritize open communication with parents, using their preferred method to discuss their child's day or any concerns. While I follow the parents' lead in enforcing household rules, I love exploring the outdoors, reading, and playing games. I have my Wilderness First Responder certification and am a Lifeguard, so I am well prepared for any potential first aid needs. I'm also happy to help with meal preparation, and swimming supervision.
