About Violet
I am hands down a loving animal person. I love finding opportunities to love on fur babies. I have 4 amazing and crazy miniature dachshunds at home. I have grown up with pets all my life. I have had a hamster, Guinea Pig, 2 Chinchillas, 8 semi feral, outdoor cats, 3 birds, and a fish in my 18 years of life. While have not held a payroll position working with animals, I have had my fair share of volunteer work. Weather it be volunteering at my local animal shelter every summer, teaching workshops on dog training to my peers at the county level through 4H, hosting fundraising events for local animal no-kill shelters, or offering to walk my friends and neighbors dogs. I am hopeful to find new opportunities on this app to not only assist pet parents in anyway and learn more about the amazing animal community in DC.
