About Violet

I am from a large family which has inspired my passion for working with children. This interest has followed me through college, where I majored in Psychology and minored in Childhood Studies. After college, in May 2025 I became a Preschool Teacher at a local preschool. During this time I found I love working one-on-one and catering to children's individual needs. My favorite moments are creating a day-to-day routine that caters to children's needs and interests and building in developmentally appropriate activities and learning. There is nothing quite like seeing a child light up when their interests are reflected in their interactions with their caregivers. I find very few things as fulfilling as connecting with a child on an individual level and learning and understanding what makes them them. In February 2026 I switched to nannying for 2 fabulous families on a short term contract. Since then I have completely fallen in love with nannying. I cannot wait to nanny for your family!
