About Vidya

Learning alongside students to help them succeed is my passion. For the past five years, I have worked with elementary and middle school students, helping them develop strong study skills in science, test preparation, and even musical instruments. I hold a college degree and create engaging, supportive, and patient learning environments. I actively listen to students and observe their interactions with new material, allowing me to adapt my teaching methods. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrate small successes. Communication is essential. I strive to build trust and keep everyone informed of progress. The most rewarding aspect is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and watching their confidence grow. I am comfortable tutoring online, at the library, school, or a coffee shop. I am CPR and First Aid trained. I'm also comfortable around pets, and I look forward to helping your child reach their full potential.
