About Vida

Although I'm an equal opportunity cuddler I have a soft spot for small dogs, especially Pugs and Terrier breeds. My family had a Pug, Buster, who lived almost 20 years (!) and was a very cool dude. In college I took care of my landlord's Terrier-mix, Gizmo, and she was one of my best buds. We went everywhere together! During that time I also housesit/cat-sit a beautiful old house with a giant old grey fluffy cat named Zeus. I grew up with house cats, so taking care of them feels very natural for me. Fun fact: My tabby Maury was toilet trained. So I have a soft spot for Tabbies! And black cats. And hairless! I used to nanny for a family who had a hairless cat, Dominoes, who I loved. He would get cold easily so during the day I would move his bed around to the sunny spots: ) I've housesat in friend's apartments and houses off and on for years! It's been a wonderful mutual support during transitional times, between traveling, school or moving apartments.
