I am loyal, compassionate and patient. I'm looking for a job that means something to someone. I have worked in the corporate world most of my life and the times that I have been able to help/care for others in my life when needed have been the happiest and most fulfilling of my life. My work at ILS (now ElderOne) was the best, most rewarding work I've ever done. I started caring for seniors indirectly , in the 1990s as an employee of a PACE program in Rochester , NY. I was not a direct caregiver , but was able to interact and provide social and recreational support to the participants. In my spare time, I like to ride my horse, swim and cook with over 30 years in the healthcare industry, I am able to navigate the healthcare system very comfortably. My skills are household related (cooking, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, laundry, etc) I love to engage people through games, story telling, music - things that are important to the people I care for
