I've had the most rewarding experiences as a caregiver. I'm a mother of 2 daughters and have 4 grandchildren. I've cared for my grandfather as a Live In Caregiver as well as people from many different backgrounds. The Chief of Staff of Anaheim Memorial Hospital, a Retired Los Angeles City Fire Captain, a VIP at the Administrative Offices of the Automobile Club of Southern California, and even a retired NFL SF 49er. I've also cared for little ones from infancy to teens. I have 1 5 yrs experience caring for people with Broken Bones, Cancer, COPD, Dementia, Diabetes, and Alzheimer's. I've also provided compassionate End of Life Hospice Care. I've entertained, transported (church, restaurants, doctor appointments, graduations, vacations, weddings and funerals). I monitor and give medication reminders as well as administering Insulin and Procrit shots. The BEST part of my job I think, is being blessed with not my own family, but I am now a member of "many" wonderful families. Lucky me!!
