Hi there! My name is Ms. Victoria, and I'm a Private Preschool Teacher/ Nanny. My experience starts at The Learning Cottage where I was a preschool teacher for 3 yrs. I Lesson planned and cared for children ages 0-6 before I became the Arts & Theatre Teacher to a shifting classroom of ages 3-5. I completed Florida's ongoing mandatory DCF training in Early Childhood Development - and I'm looking towards furthering my Early Childhood Education! I teach in a fusion style that blends Montessori, Waldorf, & Reggio Emilia. I've worked one on one with children that have Autism, ADHD, & Sensory Processing Disorders. Previously I worked with children ages 10-18 as a Juvenile Detention Officer. I problem solve using redirection and communication. We visited Sarasota for one month and hired Victoria to help with our family of four children under the age of six (one newborn). She exceeded our wildest expectations. Energetic and always positive, the children immediately took to Victoria, and she could communicate with each of them and meet them at their level. Victoria played with them, did crafts/art projects, read books, swam, on and on. While not with the children, she helped with cleaning, housework, laundry, etc. She was always doing something to help us out and add value. Most importantly, Victoria immediately earned our trust. She is a genuine and wonderful person with a pure heart who you just know has everyone’s best interests in mind. Our children already miss her, and she made a lasting impact on them and our family. We cannot say enough good things about Victoria.
