About Victoria

I'd describe my personality as ethical, upbeat and compassionate. I like working with kids because they love to learn about everything. I'm looking for a job that allows me to offer ethical care for ethical families. I started working with kids when I was a teenager, but really became an early childhood educator in 2008. I have extensive training in ECERS and ITERS and am a NAEYC Member. In my spare time, I like to grow gardens for food, wellness, fibers and pigments. I sew, do woodworking, culinary arts & practice yoga. Oh, and I do Shibori! One thing you should know about me is I love nurturing nature. I have a learning garden I started in my back yard and have taught forest school, homesteading for little ones and bush craft for ages 6-12. My skills include Fostering Positive Social / Emotional Behaviors, Toilet Training w/o Tears and teaching children Montessori Grace & Courtesy.
