Hello! My name is Victoria, I am from New Zealand, and I am the eldest of five children. This meant there was always lots of opportunity to babysit in my family. Upon coming to the US I got a job in an accredited daycare, where I obtained my CDA. I worked there for almost 12 years before having my own daughter in November 2019. I started off working with infants 8 weeks to 18 months, (1. 5 years) then moved to toddlers 18 months to 3 years (10 years). I also got CPR, First Aid and defibrillator training while working here. Through this job I have had many babysitting opportunities, and many times with older children as well as the young ones. I have also worked with babies as young as 4 weeks old (but have experience with newborns as an older sister, and a mother. :) I love spending time with my daughter, doing activities like reading, listening to music, singing, playing with toys, and working on developmental skills. Victoria is an exceptional caregiver and her home is a great environment for little kids. She has been caring for our one-year-old a couple days a week for a few months. Our little guy loves her and is making great progress. She occasionally hosts his speech therapy session and the speech therapist is impressed with her child development knowledge and skills.
