I have been a volunteer at a Convalescent Center in Montgomery for 5 years. These wonderful men and women have won my heart. I helped take care of my mother for 3 years before she passed away and gained invaluable experience in bathing, feeding and taking care of her needs. I believe the elderly need to be listened to and know that we care. I took care of two Alzheimer's clients through Care.com until they passed away. This has given me much experience on how to care for these precious ones and sensitivity for the families who go through this with them.
