My background is in clinical medicine, practiced as a clinical officer back home in Kenya which is equivalent to a physician assistant here in the US. Relocated about 8 years ago and been working in the homecare field ever since as my practice license from Kenya didn't have a chance here and was required to go back to school for few more years. I did choose not to enroll after my plea to have trial exams instead of more years back again schooling was rejected. I practiced both as a midwife and in outpatient clinics making diagnosis, writing prescription, performing minor procedures eg suturing, ng tubes, LP and so on. I have been working with elderly clients, SCI patients and also as a behavior tech to kids with autism and developmental challenges. l do believe I have a vast experience taking care of children and teens as I have worked with them both in a clinical setting and home environment. Im extremely organized, clean, detailed and professional in my job execution.
