About Vicna

Hi! My name is Vicna, and I'm a senior Education major at the University of Virginia and a current intern with the Virginia Department of Education. I have over two years of experience with Teach For America, specializing in literacy instruction and literacy intervention, along with experience developing curriculum and creating engaging learning materials. I've tutored students in a variety of subjects, including reading, writing, and math, and have completed formal coursework in elementary math instruction for grades K-5. I tailor each session to meet students' individual needs, helping them build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and develop a love for learning.
