About Vicki

I started in childcare for pay in 2003 caring the grandson of the preschool director at my oldest son's school. Then in 2005 I worked as an Americorp Environmental educator/camp director with ages 3-14. I found that I really liked working with the older age group and when I became a substitute teacher later that year I subbed primarily with middle schoolers. In 2007 I was hired at a Montessori as an infant teacher which I discovered I had a talent for as well. At the same Montessori I also worked as a lead teacher with 18-24-month-olds and earned my 90 hours in Early Child Development. I am passionate about what I do because I want to help young children have a great start in life by providing them with caring nurturing guidance.
