*Babysitting/Nanny! I enjoy taking care of kids. I will watch all ages from babies to toddlers to school age children to adolescents. I like getting on the floor and playing games, coloring and drawing, reading stories; from changing, feeding, to planning different activities with them. My old school motherhood comes into play when it's time to eat/bottle feed (eat everything off your plate.), being safe and entertained in fun ways that do not always include watching TV or movies all the time. It is important for them to have play time, and reading time. My experience allowed me to work with families with diverse backgrounds and their needs, engaging their children in everything, from newborns, toddlers, elem. kids, teens, young adult, to special needs. I assist clients/patients with daily living and fundamental tasks at their office, homes, daycare, school, assisted living facilities, long-term care facilities, nursing homes and mental health facilities. I provide direct care to pediatric, teenage, geriatric patients, disabled, handicapped, hospice, and mentally challenged patients. I assist clients/patients with running any errands such as; going with them to their doctor appointments, school, daycare, cleaners, grocery shopping, paying bills, etc. I wash clothes, change bed linens, take out trash, dust, direct visitors, and answers telephones. I cook and serve meals and help assist with eating by mouth or peg tube feeding and bottle feeding (baby). I assist clients/patients with their personal hygiene care such as: baths, dressing and undressing and grooming. I maintain an orderly and clean residence in conjunction with housekeeping staff, if any. I dispense medication. I assist with normal range of motion exercises and moving in and out of bed, including turns and repositions for bedfast patients to prevent bedsores. I complete routine diaper care, catheter care, and simple skin care. I transport clients/patients, using wheelchair or walker, car seat, or mechanics.
