I'd describe my personality as caring, compassionate, and patient. I also have a nice little sense of humor, which is definitely helpful when you care for a patient with dementia. I have over 10 years of experience with two different patients that eventually moved in with me full time in my single family home. My first little patient passed at the age of 100, I took care of her for 7 years. My second patient lived to be 99, both had dementia. I provided a loving and caring environment until the very end. I miss them both dearly, but I know the time we spent together were well worth it, and everybody was very happy.
