About Veronica

Hello! My name is Veronica. Thank you for expressing interest in my care for your family. I am I obtained a B. S in Child Development and a M. S. in Marriage, Child & Family Therapy. I am currently in between full time jobs having recently been laid off. I have 10+ years of experience with children as a babysitter, preschool teacher and a few years as a foster care Social Worker. I am also a mother to a teenage son. I love working with children. They are fun, kind and unapologetically honest. My availability is pretty open and I am open to reoccurring jobs. I'd describe my personality as friendly, calm & inquisitive. In my spare time, I like to read books, watch reality tv, & go to the beach. One thing you should know about me is I am passionate about literacy. Reading is my favorite hobby and I feel as thought my life has benefited so much from reading books. For children, reading helps with learning vocabulary and speech development.
