About Veronica

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, family oriented, and compassionate. I like caring for seniors because it gives me a sense of purpose and it is fullfilling for me to be able to be that person to add happiness into someone's life and make sure they know they are important to someone and are cared for properly. I started caring for seniors in 2005 when I received my Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate. Since then I have had 19 years of experience of home health, private duty care, nursing home care and I am currently working at the UTMB hospital as a patient care technician. One thing you should know about me is taking care of others is my passion, which is why I have decided to stay in this career field for so long! I love working personally with patients one on one to give them my full attention and care. My skills include Peg tube feeding, mobility assistance, companionship, assisting in personal hygiene needs, preparing meals, managing medications, peri care, etc
