About Veronica

Hi! I'm Veronica, and I'm excited to begin my journey in child care. I have a natural love for working with kids and enjoy creating fun, safe and supportive environments for them to learn and grow. I like working with kids because the same way children learn from adults we also learn from children. We learn to be patient, caring and loving. I started working with kids when I took a summer job at a camp where I was a camp counselor for children who were 6 years old. I honestly didn't know what to expect but quickly grew to love the children. It was so much fun and ultimately rewarding. My skills include patience same calm, and understanding in all situations, especially when children are emotional and challenging is very. Clearly and kindly communicating with both children and parents while listening is important to express needs effectively.
