About Veronica

Nice to meet you! I'm Veronica. I'm an experienced and patient caregiver originally from Long Island. For about 15 years, I've worked with children, pets and the elderly. I have worked in various care giving roles since I was about 12, babysitting the neighborhood kids and eventually moved on to work at an after care program for 6+ years. In this position I worked with children from ages 5 to 12, some of which had special care needs. I also spent many years building a pet care business and teaching yoga to put myself through college. Most recently, I've used my creativity, resourcefulness and patience as a personal aid for a woman with dementia. I also helped manage the team of 5 other girls taking care of her, helping to interview and hire them. I'm currently only available for part time work as I run my own freelance business. Caregiving is a passion of mine and my availability is fairly flexible so I do it where possible.
