Experience: 10 yrs
My name Is Veronica. I have over 10 years of experience working as a home health caregiver. I also have a bachelors degree in CCJ. My passion has always been helping and caring for people. My expertise is working with clients with Alzheimer's/Dementia, MS, and various physical conditions. Some duties include: driving or accompanying client(s) to and from appointments. Provide supervision and companionship. Managing medication. Assisting in personal care and dietary needs. Cleaning and organizing. I provide the highest quality of care with every client to provide safety and security, while also building a positive and supportive relationship. I am very easy going, reliable and trustworthy. I always try to have a positive attitude and a smile wherever I go. Taking care of your loved ones is more than a job for me, it is a passion.
I cannot say enough positive things about Veronica and the extraordinary care she provided over a couple months. Caring for a senior who had suffered multiple strokes, was immobile, and required extensive hands-on support is no small task; and she handled it with professionalism, compassion, and remarkable resilience. Veronica provided consistent overnight care, worked seamlessly alongside hospice, and ensured our loved one’s comfort, dignity, and safety at all times. This client could be quite demanding and, at times, difficult due to frustration and physical limitations, yet Veronica met every challenge with patience, calm confidence, and empathy. She knew when to be gentle, when to be firm, and how to maintain a reassuring presence even during long, exhausting nights. Beyond meeting complex medical and physical needs, she brought humanity and warmth into the home. She communicated clearly, anticipated needs, handled feeding, personal care, and medication support with skill, and never lost sight of the person behind the illness. Her ability to manage high‑stress situations while remaining kind and respectful made an immeasurable difference. What truly set Veronica apart was her dedication and emotional intelligence. She treated our loved one not as a task, but as a person; offering companionship, conversation, and comfort when it mattered most. Knowing she was there allowed usto rest easier during an incredibly difficult time. We are deeply grateful for her commitment, strength, and compassion. Any family would be fortunate to have Veronica supporting their loved one. Highly, wholeheartedly recommended.
