Veronica was a great helper the 1st time. Last Friday, she said her child care job (on Fridays) canceled on her so she could come over with only 4 hours notice. It was great. Then, this Friday, I paid her beforehand (so she could see if it worked through the app). So I paid her Thursday for Friday, but she never showed up. She said she had to go to the principal's office, but never returned my messages or calls. When I asked her if she's still going to come, she just replied, "stepping into the principal's office now." I haven't heard from her and I really wonder if she forgot about her child care job on Fridays. or did she take the money and run? Honestly, she had my phone number. she could have called. She could have told the principal that she had a job and was going to be kind and give them a call and let them know she would be late or a no-show.
