My name is Veronica and I have been a certified Montessori Teacher for 20+ years gaining experience with children ages 0-5 Although my teaching in a classroom has come to an end, I want to continue caring for a child and use my educator skills in a home. I am comfortable in planning a daily schedule that incorporates creative playtime, outdoor activities, meal time, nap time, and any educational activities the child will enjoy. I am a grandmother of two beautiful little girls and a godmother of 3 lovely boys that I babysit from time to time. I am reliable, compassionate, patient, and positive. I enjoy reading, painting, worship dancing, creating home decor, and spending time with my family. I am also a group leader in the women's church ministry and lead teacher in pre school kids ministry. I am looking forward to meeting a family where we grow, communicate and become trustworthy of each other. What I am most excited for is to care for and love a child.

My husband and I were initially extremely nervous about trying to find a trustworthy person to take care of our son full time. Out of family resources we turned to Care.com and posted an open position. We nervously interviewed a few candidates and we just knew right after our first conversation with Ms. Veronica that we needed her to take care of our son. Ms. Veronica took initiative right away. She was able to win over our then 7 mos old son the first minute she arrived. By the end of the first day she was already establishing a routine with him and made suggestions on how to better his play area and the home to support his development. It’s been about 7 months, and our now 13mos toddler gets so excited when Ms. Veronica arrives. Ms. Veronica helped us introduce solids and has our little guy eating the same foods we eat. Ms. Veronica has been essential when it has come to my son hitting all his milestones early. Ms. Veronica’s routine of reading, play, outside time, music, arts and crafts has been essential in my son’s growth. He is learning both English and Spanish and we see how much of his intelligence is due to the dedication and teachings of Ms. Veronica. Ms. Veronica is trustworthy, respectful, kind, patient, understanding and supportive. Saying we are blessed to have her in our lives is an understatement. I 100% recommend Ms. Veronica for your child care needs. She has worked with children of all ages and her experience speaks for itself.
