About Veronica

My background includes serving as a bilingual babysitter to Italian children, catering to the needs of the child while encouraging the development of their knowledge of the English language. I only spoke in English to them. Most recently, I moved back to New York, I am gaining considerable communication, social, and leadership skills during my volunteer work as a tutor for the Reading Partners organization. I also bring to the table strong adaptability and cultural skills due to living abroad in Rome, Italy for four years. I was able to socialize with people of other cultures, see much of Europe, and become proficient in another language. I was able to really work on all my skills in depth and develop them as a Camp Counselor at a sleep away camp in New Hampshire this summer. My leadership abilities were definitely put to the test when I would take over on my activity boss days and nights off.
