Vera has been with us for almost 3 years. My son was just a baby she started. Vera treats my son as her own grandkid. She is kind, caring, loving, patient and reliable. Vera comes every weekday morning, gets my son up, gets him fed, dressed and drives him to daycare. Vera has taught my son so many things over the year. My son and I have been through a lot and Vera has been a stable comfort for him during a lot of changes. Vera is truly family to us and we would lost without her. 

What a great experience! Can't say enough good things about Vera. We were so happy with her professionalism and true caring nature. Our daughter had a blast and we knew she was in good hands while we were in town for a wedding weekend. Vera went out of her way to think up activities for our 9 yo. Truly above and beyond expectations. Highly recommended!!

Vera is an amazing caregiver that went from sitter to family! I was a bit nervous about hiring someone to care for my children but from day one I felt very safe and comfortable with Vera. My children absolutely adore her and would look forward to the days that she would come by. She went above and beyond with my children and even taught them a great deal of Spanish! She was always on time and many times early. Vera is very reliable and I've missed her dearly. If we had not moved away I would absolutely still have her a sitter and I would 100% recommend her to any family!

Vera was fantastic. When we first interviewed her she asked all the right questions about food allergies,  portions,  etc,  that made us feel confident that she understood young children.  Vera came prepared with activities. Our daughter (2.5 yo) liked her immediately. We were in town for a wedding.  Vera was flexible around our daughter's nap, brought activities, and sent us videos and text updates so we always knew what was going on.  Vera is great,  our daughter loved her,  and we would absolutely hire her again.

Vera is an incredible caregiver. She's warm and kind and treats my son like he's her own child. Vera cared for our baby regularly from age 6 months-8 months before she had to return to work full time. Now we still book her for nights/weekends when we need the help. She would give him baby massages, spend lots of time outdoors playing with him, and teach him Spanish. Vera helped out with dishes and laundry without me ever asking. The minute she walks in the house, she jumps on the floor with our son and they laugh and play.

Came in town for a wedding and Vera met us at the hotel and took care of our 2 year old daughter. Great references. Easy going, got along great with our daughter.  Troubleshooted and was able to arrange and ordered dinner online since the room service was closed.

Vera is a wonderful person and babysitter. She is kind and funny (according to my child), and she is very responsible and experienced in caring for children.

We hired Vera over a weekend (two nights) in NY to attend a family wedding. She was AMAZING with our 2 year old. Vera was responsive, dependable, accommodating to our schedule, an absolute professional! Our son loved Vera, and she in return loved him. Amazing! We hope to see Vera again soon. We recently hired Vera to babysit our 7-mo old son who's recovering from an ear infection and fever and has just started teething - a triple whammy - and were highly impressed with Vera's nurturing manner and attentiveness to him.  Our son felt instantly at ease with Vera and we knew we had found a wonderful babysitter.  We definitely recommend her!!

Vera was great.  We had a wedding, in from out of town, and needed a babysitter for one night for our 9 month old.  Vera was responsive by text, provided references and a picture of her CPR card unprompted, and came highly recommended from both the references I spoke with.  She arrived promptly and ready to work; she was very loving and friendly with our son who took to her immediately.  When we had returned, we found that she had thoughtfully straightened up our room!  I will absolutely reach out to her first when I'm back in town, and have no hesitation in highly recommending Vera.

Vera is a wonderful babysitter. She is kind, loving, patient and thoughtful. She took the time to meet and speak with me prior to watching my son and after meeting her, I knew she would be great. She has been sitting for me since my son was five months old and it is a blessing knowing someone like her as we don't have immediate family in the area. I will continue to use her in the future and I can always trust that my son is in good hands with her.

Vera is wonderful! She has taken care of my 7 month old daughter on several occasions. She is sweet, loving, attentive and caring. Vera is trustworthy, punctual and reliable.  Being new to the child care search was very difficult. I was nervous about leaving the baby with someone other than a family member but finding Vera was a blessing.  I will definitely ask her to babysit on a regular basis.

We hired Vera for our weekend trip up to NY in which we needed some help with childcare for our two year old son.  As we wouldn't have the opportunity to meet someone in advance prior to the start of the job, we were really hesitant and particular with who we would trust to leave our son with.  Vera was truly the answer to our prayers!  From just hearing her voice for the first time during our phone screening to meeting her in person for the first time, we just knew our son would be in great care with Vera.  Surely, he loved her right away and really enjoyed his time with her.  He actually even kept calling her "Lola" (grandmother in Tagalog!) - it was clear that he could feel her warmth and gentleness from the start.  

Over the course of two days, Vera clocked in 18 hours of work - a lot to ask in such a short time!  She was HAPPY, energetic, kind, and positive the entire time!!  She really is such a joy to be around, and we really feel so lucky to have met her. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Vera took the time to meet us before watching our daughter for the first time. She did a really good job getting comfortable with our daughter, our pets, and our area. She also kept us updated while we were away.

The reasons we chose Vera were her past experience with children of all ages, and her recommendations from other families. 

We plan to keep in touch with Vera so she can watch our daughter in the evenings.
