I have three years experience caring for seniors. I prefer one on one or small group homes because of close friendships that develop between the caregiver and the one receiving the care. As a caregiver/med aide I've been responsible for, medication delivery, bathing, checking blood sugar levels, cooking meals, feeding, incontinent care, cleaning and laundry. As an overnight caregiver I clean and do your laundry so that when you wake up it's to breakfast, coffee/tea, and a clean home.
