Compassionate and dependable caregiver with a genuine passion for helping seniors live safely and comfortably at home. I provide support with daily routines, errands and anything they need. I'd describe my personality as caring, empathetic, attentive I like caring for seniors because I truly value their life experience and the connection that comes with it. I'm looking for a job where I can provide dependable support, companionship, and help improve someone's quality of life. I started caring for seniors in 2010 when my grandmother had Alzheimer's and I spent 5 years taking turns with family members caring for her. Again in 2015 I spent 3 years sharing care with my grandfather through companionship then terminal lung cancer. In my spare time, I enjoy going antiquing on and on days off I like to go for walks on the beach in the summer and other day trips year round. My skills include light hearted conversations. Attention to detail and excellent communication.
