I'd describe my personality as driven, concise, energetic I like caring for seniors because I enjoy helping the elderly, along with this is one thing I know I'm without any doubt very good at! I'm looking for a job that I can help someone live life a little easier on a day to day basis. I started caring for seniors when I was a senior in high school at 18 years old, I am now 37. In my spare time, I like to paint and do other crafts and paint with my daughter One thing you should know about me is I believe that the only stupid question is a question not asked. My skills include transferring, peri care, medication assistance and much more just ask. I have a wide variety of skills.

She's been working for us for 2+ years until I placed my 92 year old mom with dementia in memory care. Caregiving is her calling, what she was meant to do. Hardworking, infinite amount of patience, invested in the welfare of the patient needs, dependable, conscientious, honest and trustworthy, thoughtful. Goes above and beyond the "required" job duty. Our first day without any orientation of the home but for a few instructions (I had to go to work), she was the first private caregiver (out of 10 through an agency) that got my mother to do things that no one else was able to do. Vannessa stays busy throughout the day. She cooks meals (and bakes a lot, we've all gained weight!), does light housekeeping, and virtually anything else you can imagine. She's sees something that needs to be done and does it without asking. The mere mention that you (yourself) say out loud that something you forgot needs to be done by you, and when you come home from work, more often than not, she's taken care of it. She's extremely talented, arts and crafts, getting my mother to engage. Short trips outside of the home - hair and nail salon appointments, walks outside, trips to flower gardens, grabbing something to eat with mom to avoid monotony. There are not enough words to express how grateful I am for having her take care of my mother (and me!). Vannessa truly puts the "care" in caregiver. There is so much more but I'm afraid I could write a book on how highly I feel about Vannessa. She has become a part of the family and I will miss her. Should anyone like to contact me, I would be happy to discuss Vannessa's time with us.
