I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I love children and I am very patient with them. I am enrolled in Child Care Division's Central Background Registry. I have been a preschool teacher, and even owned my own preschool for a year. . I have worked as a nanny for 3 different families, for a combined total of over 5 years. All of these families had newborn babies that they entrusted in my care. Making the children feel safe and cared for and seeing their smiles in return is the greatest feeling in the world. My whole career over the years has involved children in one way or another. I also have experience as an Assistant Director, Director, and Director/ Site Coordinator over the years. I am now at a place in my life that I want to get back into occasionally taking care of a child/children, one to one again. My love for children is as strong as it has always been. Vanita is very particular when it comes to childcare. So much, that she went to college here in Oregon to get her ECE (Early Childhood Education) Associates Degree. She has worked with various childcare businesses and has worked as Director and Assistant Director over the last few years. When not working directly in the Daycare business, she has taken on "Nanny" positions and been very successful and helped care for several children over the last couple years. Today they are still part of her "family". She visits them and occasionally babysits for them and they love her. She is able to gain their trust and naturally a lifelong bond is created that cannot be denied. While caring for the children, they are her number one responsibility. While they nap, she does light and general housekeeping etc. The child or children always come first. Their needs are her first priority. Finally, anyone with children young and old would benefit from the kind of care this woman provides.
