About Vania

My journey with childcare started at just 9 years old when I became an aunt and began looking out for the children in my family. That early responsibility shaped everything. I have been watching over kids ever since, including my older cousins children, and it has always felt like second nature to me. In my junior and senior years of high school I volunteered with the Special Olympics, empowering student athletes with intellectual disabilities through sports training and coaching. That experience taught me how to meet every child where they are, celebrate their strengths, and help them push past what they thought they could do. In college I had the opportunity to volunteer and coach drills at the 1st Annual GameChangers Play 60 All Girls Flag Football Camp, working with girls ages 5 to 25. Getting on the field with them and watching their confidence grow in just a few hours was something I will never forget. It reminded me why this kind of work matters.
