About Vania

I'm a currently a school-based behavior analyst with a master's degree in applied behavior analysis and autism specialization. I have 17 years of experience working with school-age children with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities. I'm currently working toward my BCBA certification. I'm passionate about tutoring because every child can succeed with the right support and understanding of how they learn. I'm certified to teach de-escalation and safety techniques, creating calm learning environments. Families should know that autism isn't something to fix, but a different way of learning. My top three skills are individualized instruction based on behavioral analysis, breaking down complex skills, and building genuine rapport so students feel safe and understood.
