Each individual is unique and my goal is to provide each client with their own plan of care based on their specific needs. I strive to ensure that you will have satisfying and nutritious meals prepared. I will assist you with daily routine hygiene, medicine management, scheduling doctor visits and transportation to those appointments in addition to social events and necessary errands. I offer light housekeeping and will always keep the safety of the client as my main focus by keeping their personal space as organized and clean as possible. In addition I have great organization skills and can assist you in household management. I offer you over 25 years of experience and I am certified as a nursing assistant in the state of Virginia for 20 years and have endless exceptional references.

I hired Vangie to help me out with my Alzheimer/Dementia patient mother. She was excellent for us. My mother had just lost her husband rather suddenly and was confused and she'd never had a caregiver.  Vangie was able to gently help her adapt. One BIG thing that helped my mother accept her was when Vangie told her that she would love to cook meals for her. 😆 (and the meals were great!)
Vangis is a CNA so was that was a help for me to have her to lean on for health concerns.  This was all new to me as well so Vangie helped me find my way through my new responsibilities as a caregiver when I'm alone with my mother. 
Later, I had to move my mother out of state to live with me and my husband so unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to Vangie. She became a friend as well as a caregiver. We miss her.

Vangie has been caring for my mother who has Alzheimer's, and our family is so thankful we found her.  Vangie is a very experienced caregiver who is kind and compassionate. Vangie addressed mom's bedsores which healed up quickly.  She engages mom in activities, music, art, light exercise and we clearly see the positive effect she has on our mom.  We highly recommend Vangie!

Vangie has an awesome personality.  My mom is 88 years old and set in her ways. She doesn't take to strangers well. She always says she doesn't want someone in her house that she doesn't know. Well she took to Vangie right away.  Vangie is very kind and helpful.  I would rate her care giving on a scale of 10. She is dependable. She is very supportive of my mom. Vangie tends to my mom's every need. She is a great cook and housekeeper.

Vangie cares for my husband who has dementia with Parkinsonism 3 days a week.  She brings a ray of sunshine into our lives, in addition to her many care giving duties, which include bathing, dressing, cooking, laundry, keeping his living space clean and tidy and assisting him with walking and eating.  She is meticulous with his skin care, a very critical aspect for the elderly who spend so much time sitting and lying down. I am very comfortable leaving my husband in Vangie's care while I run errands. She has been a blessing in our lives.

This is my first time using the services of a caregiver, and it's been a wonderful experience for me. I moved into an apartment  with few benefits for disabled residents. Being confined to a motorized wheelchair, I quickly found myself in trouble. 

I trust Vangie implicitly. Vangie's experience helping seniors with medical conditions is sufficient to enable her to observe, identify requirements and make meaningful recommendations. Vangie makes suggestions regarding my diet, ensures I keep up with my medications, provides bathing and dressing assistance, and is a good conversationalist; good for bringing a welcome personality into a single person's life. She spoils me.

My husband and I hired Vangie to care for his grandmother with dementia. She has been great with her. Highly recommend.

Ms. G has been caring for my mother in my home since November 2019.  I feel especially blessed to find someone so genuinely caring for her clients.  My mother is 84 years old and suffers from dementia.  Vangie is very skilled in dealing with her specific needs.  My mother loves her, and I can go to work or run errands without concern or worry that my mom is being properly cared for.  I would recommend Ms. G without any reservation.

She cares for my 94 year old Mother and is so patient and sweet to her.  My Mom has no complaints. I would recommend Vangie highly!

Vangie provided beyond what could have been expected for my mother's care.  She was attentive and thorough from helping with all of her physical needs to preparing her favorite meals, communicating with medical professionals, emergency room trips and even hospital visits on her days off.  She genuinely cared and was truly a comfort to my mother.

Vangie has been a total blessing to our family. She has been caring for our 90 year old grandparent for several years. She continually goes above and beyond. Knowing that she is caring for our grandparent gives us such peace of mind.  She is very flexible with her times and cares for our grandparent like he is her own. She has become part of the family and we wouldn't know what to do without her. If you are looking for a caregiver, you couldn't ask for anyone better.

I didn't actually hire Vangie because she was looking for full time work and I was only offering part time. I will say that she was very prompt (punctual & dependable in that regard) and professional about responding to by messages.

Vangie is honest, shows up on time (or early) every time, organized with the day and her paperwork and doing far more than I ever expected to make life pleasant and as healthy for my wife as she can. I would trust her with anything I own. Attentive to health and hygiene she changes my wife when needed, puts night clothes on her before leaving for the day, bathes her and goes an extra mile by putting a bit of make-up on that my wife is completely unconcerned about but is good to see her looking a bit like her old self now and again. Besides being a superlative caregiver she is just a genuine down to earth caring lady with a perpetual smile who takes her duties seriously.

Vangie is a dependable.loyal, trustworthy individual. I had the privilege of working with her to care for an elderly woman that has various needs.
