About Vanessa

Caring for others has always been more than just a job for me. I am a nationally accredited Certified Medical Assistant, CPR certified, and served as a Navy Corpsman for 14 years. My healthcare experience includes orthopedics, cancer care, family practice, mental health, cardiology, and geriatrics. I have over six years of experience caring for geriatric and dementia patients, which has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. My skills include INR testing, medication administration, phlebotomy, IV therapy, wound care, bathing, personal care, and meal preparation. I also truly enjoy the companionship side of caregiving sitting with my patients, listening to their stories, talking, laughing, and simply being there. I have always had a special place in my heart for the elderly. Knowing that I can help someone feel safe, comfortable, respected, and genuinely cared for is what makes this work so rewarding to me.
