About Vanessa

Vanessa has worked for me for over 2 years. She looked after my son every day from the time he was 3 months old to 2.5+ years old. She is like family to us!! I was only planning on having a nanny/babysitter until he was 1 or 1.5 years old, but she did such an amazing job I ended up extending another year and beyond that. She has never once been late to work, is the best communicator, gives plenty of notice if she ever needs a day off for vacation, and most importantly she loves my son like her own. She takes him to the park/out of the house activities, keeps him on a sleep schedule, helps keep the house tidy, keeps up with his laundry, lets me know when he’s low on diapers/wipes/any kid items in advance, helps with my 3 dogs, etc. She’s always willing to be flexible when my work schedule changes and does it with a positive attitude. I hired her knowing she was pregnant because she was the only one I interviewed who I felt was a genuinely amazing person and I would give my son the best care. After her son was born, she brought him to work with her and didn’t miss a beat with my son! It was the best thing having a second child in my home for him to learn how to be gentle and share as they grew up. They make the best playmates and Vanessa does an amazing job with both of them! I have never felt like my son was lacking care because there were two kids now. If anything it made for a better learning environment. I could go on and on, but overall I could not recommend her more!!
