Learning alongside students is a passion of mine. I believe every student has unique potential and can achieve their goals with personalized support. I empower students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for long-term success. I actively listen and observe initial interactions with new material. Varying my teaching strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems is something I do. I encourage open communication about what methods work best. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples. I break down complex problems into manageable steps to build momentum. I encourage curiosity and critical thinking through interactive discussions. Open dialogue allows me to adapt my approach for optimal outcomes. Seeing a student's confidence grow is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor. I am comfortable with pets, CPR trained, and First Aid certified.
