I am a reliable, dependable, enthusiastic mother's helper available in the Monterey area. I have over five years of experience working as a nanny/care giver, half of that time has been with special needs children. I have experience working with young children with CP, this position required administering IV fluids and medications using a pump device. Responsibilities with this position included identifying changes in child's condition, reporting child's symptoms to parents, and helped to keep a steady routine. I come from a large family and love working with children of all ages. When taking care of children I prefer to keep the TV off and play activities with children. I also enjoy doing arts and craft with children. As a Peace Corps (Kenya) Volunteer I worked with middle school aged students teaching sex ed. But I have experience with children age 3 to 16 as well.
