My calling to care for others stems from a deep passion for supporting the well-being and independence of adults and seniors. As a retired Midwife, and certified doula specialising in death care, I bring 8 years of experience and a graduate degree to my work. I understand the importance of providing families with reliable care options. My approach is patient, calm, compassionate, and friendly. I prioritize building connections with care recipients by respecting their independence and promoting autonomy while ensuring safety and dignity. I am adept at de-escalating stressful situations, handling confusion or agitation, and incorporating memory care activities. I communicate with families through verbal updates, texts, or phone calls, always following their preferred method. I offer respite care, live-in home care, transportation, errands, meal preparation, medical management, and mobility assistance. I hold current CPR and First Aid Training.
