About Vanessa

Nurturing young minds is more than a job for me; it's a passion. I have six years of experience caring for children from newborn to age 11 and began working with kids at 14, including babysitting children of various ages and abilities in the foster system. I later worked in after-school programs for two years and in a preschool classroom, continuing to build hands-on experience. I graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute and love incorporating creativity into my work through art projects and crafts. I currently work as an ABA therapist, supporting children with autism in their behavioral, communication, and developmental growth, which has strengthened my patience, consistency, and adaptability. I am dependable, attentive, and creative, and I enjoy planning engaging activities while following parents' preferences and maintaining clear communication. I have reliable transportation, am comfortable with pets, and speak English and some Spanish.
