I've worked and have years of experience in Alzheimer's and dementia, Homehealth care , Hospice and Palliative, companionship, Nursing Homes etc. I understand the depth of caring for, showing empathy and putting oneself in your patients shoes to provide better care . Always care for all my patients like I would my own family. Not being able to care for both parents and grandparents when they needed me the most before passing, has left a permanent mark in my heart to pass that care onto others. There's no greater blessing and fulfillment from that .

Worked one day supervised, then one day unsupervised while I was at work. Following Monday she was a no show/call, leaving my 83-year-old disabled mother home alone. Vanessa failed to notify me she could not come to work. She didn't respond until 36 hours later after I left her 2 texts and a voice mail asking her to call me. She texted me saying she had a family emergency and could not come for the rest of the week. She texted me on the following Sunday night saying she could not continue with the job because of the distance and hours did not work for her schedule. Seemed odd considering she knew everything up front about the distance and hours. Never apologized or acknowledge she left my mom alone. This is beyond unprofessional. In her care.com profile she said, "Always care for all my patients like I would my own family". This is how you treat family? I waited 6 weeks before posting this in hopes she might apologize.
