About Vanessa

Hi, parents! :) I recently earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) and have six years of clinical experience working with children and families. I'm looking for a full- or part-time nannying/babysitting opportunity until October when I prepare to begin my psychology career, and I'll remain available for nights/weekends afterwards as needed. My clinical background has given me extensive experience with child development, emotional regulation, and age-appropriate communication (I'm also first-aid and CPR certified!). Outside of my professional experience, I provided childcare for cousins and neighbors for 5 years and have always been described as warm, engaged, responsible, and attentive. I'm happy to help with school drop-offs/pick-ups, homework, light housework/cooking, errands, and planning fun activities and outings. References available upon request.
