About Vanessa

Hi! My name is Vanessa, and I'm a passionate and experienced caregiver with over two years of professional experience working through an at-home caregiver agency, along with many more years of working with children. My caregiving journey began in early high school, where I created tutoring and afterschool mentorship programs, in addition to personal babysitting. I graduated from UCSB with a degree in Sociology and have a background in Early Childhood Education. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, and I bring a bubbly, friendly personality to every family I work with. I'm also trained in elderly care, including assistance with ambulation, toileting, transfers, and diapering. I'm pet-friendly and absolutely love animals especially cats! I grew up in a home full of them, so I'm very comfortable around pets.
