About Vanessa

Hi, I'm Vanessa! I'm 24 years old and graduated from the University of Rhode Island two years ago with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders and a minor in Child Development. After graduation, I spent a year and a half working as a Speech Therapist Assistant at a private pediatric clinic, where I visited preschools and helped support children in reaching their speech and language goals. Alongside that experience, I've had several nannying roles throughout college and beyond, caring for children of all ages. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of child development, as well as the ability to create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. I've now decided to return to school to pursue a career in nursing, but my passion for working with children remains the same. Whether it's engaging in creative play, assisting with homework, or keeping up with daily routines, I bring energy, patience, and reliability to every babysitting job.
