To say that we enjoyed having Vanessa's help would be an understatement. She was punctual, eager to please, very smart and a joy to be around. Our kids loved her. After working with us for a few months, she took a trip to Europe for two weeks. It wasn't easy to find temporary help, but we made do, knowing she would be back. I even sent her an extra $50 for her trip, just to be kind. Unfortunately, she disappeared after that. We heard from her friend that she had a health emergency, but would be back the following week. Of course, we held her position. That was three weeks ago, and despite voicemails, an email and text, she has not responded. I have been very disappointed to say the least, as she put us in a difficult position for over a month. A phone call or text quitting would have been appropriate and very much appreciated.
