Part-time Care-giver (15- hours per week) Experience assisting 2 individual Alzheimer patients with different needs, different years. Meds Prompting: Provided peace of mind to family, as I kept patient from self-harm (i. e: the tendency to hide meds in mouth or toss away and eat non-food items) 2.) Personal Assistant: Light admin assistance. Ran errands: grocery shopping, picked-up prescriptions, laundry, and light cleaning. 3.) Transportation: Drove to and from Dr appointments. 4.) Meal-Prep: Assisted with cooking, and stored individual home-made meals in freezer to stock for future use every month. 5.) Grooming: Provided personal-care grooming services 6.) Bathing: Utilized motorized bath-tub lift, prepped tub for bathing, made sure patient did not slip getting in & out of tub. 7.) Mobility assistance: As necessary provided walker, wheelchair and specialized lift.
