About Vanessa

I'm Vanessa, a bilingual ESL educator and caregiver with 15 years of experience working with children and adults in both Brazil and the US. Before teaching, I worked as a sitter caring for kids from infants to elementary school age, so I'm comfortable with every stage and routine. I'm also the proud mom of an 8-year-old son on the autism spectrum. Raising him has been my greatest education in patience, adaptability, and unconditional love. I bring a teacher's mindset into everything I do. Every moment with a child is a chance to spark curiosity, build confidence, and make them feel truly seen. I'm calm under pressure, bilingual in Portuguese and English, experienced with sensory and behavioral needs, and deeply committed to every family I work with!
