About Vanessa

Hello! I am V Vanessa (they/them/theirs), a childcare professional with 10+ years of experience under my belt. I began my journey in childcare in 2014, babysitting for multiple families in my neighborhood, and have since worked in a variety of caregiving and educational roles. From 2017 to 2022, I served as a Theatre Performance Educator at a local children's theatre, working with children ages 2-18. Since the start of the pandemic, I've worked as a professional nanny, where I've had experience with children ranging from 8 months - 16 years of age with a primary focus on preschool-aged children. My caregiving style draws heavily on Montessori and gentle parenting philosophies, working to create environments where children feel empowered, respected, and understood. I have hands-on experience supporting neurodivergent children, including those with ASD, ADHD, and OCD. CPR/First Aid certified and clean driving record.
