About Vanessa

Hello families! I have 8 years of paid childcare experience with children ages 3-14 through summer camps, preschool and middle school classrooms, after-school programs, and three nanny positions. I also have hands-on infant experience caring for my nieces and nephews. I hold a bachelor's degree in education and am CPR/First Aid certified (June 2025). I'd describe myself as calm, patient, and caring while setting clear and consistent boundaries. I love engaging kids in activities, especially outdoor play. With experience in outdoor education, I believe strongly in helping children connect with nature-it gives them space to be active, curious, and creative. I also believe children thrive on routine, so I build fun into daily structure through crafts, games, reading, and play. I'm comfortable with multiple children, pets, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation. I'd love to get to know your family and support your child's growth and joy!
