About Valisa

I'd describe my personality as attentive, hard working, and empathetic. I like caring for seniors because I'm helping those who need assistance and those that help paved the way for me. I have a heart for what I do and I do it with honor to those who are entrusted into my care. I started caring for seniors when I lost my job at a printing company due to the recession in 2010. I was looking for a job and my sister was working at a assisted living facility. They were hiring so I filled out the application and I got the job. I fell in love with it and have been doing it ever since. In my spare time, I like to read, shoe basketball, do puzzles, shoot pool, and spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is that I do this job from my heart. I love what I do. My skills include dementia care, transferring, and redirecting.
